Most of my days are filled with family, ministry, teaching the Bible, hosting the Ministry Wives Podcast, and writing about the things women are wrestling with - honestly, what I’m wrestling with.

A lot of that comes from real life.

• Loving Jesus and still wrestling with anxiety.

• Knowing what is true and still having a hard time believing it in the moment.

• Loving people deeply and realizing you can’t be everything for everybody.

• Being surrounded by people and still feeling lonely sometimes.

My name is Amy Ruth Petersen

That’s what I tend to talk about.

Not because I have it all figured out, but because I’ve seen over and over that God meets us right in the middle of the real life…not the polished IG version.

That’s also why I love teaching the Bible so much.

I don’t want Scripture to feel like one more thing we’re supposed to get right. I want us to see who God is, what is true, and how that changes the way we walk through the life we actually have.

For more than 30 years, I’ve served women through discipleship and Bible teaching. The setting has changed over the years, but I still love opening the Bible together, asking good questions, and seeing something about God that we need to remember.

Real life. Scripture. Some laughter. And a lot of reminders that Jesus is faithful even when we are tired, unsure, or still learning.
